Who we are

ListRubric ("we", "us") provides listing checkers and a listing grader at listrubric.com. Contact: [business name, address and contact email to be added].

What we collect

  • Account information: your email address, optional name, and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
  • Listing content you submit for full grades: titles, bullets, descriptions, keywords and image details, saved so you can see your history.
  • Waitlist emails you give us before creating an account.
  • Billing details are handled by Stripe. We receive your Stripe customer ID and subscription status, not your full card number.
  • Usage and device data: privacy friendly page view and performance analytics from Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, and standard server logs such as IP address and request time.

What we do not collect

The free title checkers on our tool pages run in your browser. Text you paste into them is not sent to our servers.

How we use information

  • To run your account, grade listings, enforce plan limits and show your history.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe.
  • To send account messages and, if you opt in, rule-change alerts.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and improve the product.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie, lr_s, to keep you logged in. It is HttpOnly and expires after 30 days. Our analytics do not use cookies.

Service providers

We use Vercel (hosting, storage and analytics) and Stripe (payments). They process data on our behalf under their own terms.

Retention

We keep account data and grade history while your account is open. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request.

Security

Passwords are hashed with scrypt, sessions are signed, and all traffic uses HTTPS. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Children

ListRubric is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.
