Toys and games specific tips

  • Get your title right before the holidays. In Helium 10 data pulled October 19, 2026, monthly searches for toddler toys were up 49% and kids toys up 71% over the prior 30 days, so fix titles now rather than in December.
  • Age range must match. The age you put in the title should match the manufacturer age grading on the package and the age range attribute in your listing.
  • Safety warnings do not go in the title. Choking hazard and small parts warnings belong in the listing's safety warning field and on the packaging.
  • Piece and player counts must be exact. Shoppers compare 64 pieces against 100 pieces, so state the count once and make it match the box.
  • Do not use other brands or characters you do not license. Naming a popular toy brand or character in your title can get the listing removed for intellectual property violations.
